The room was ok, but they only had 2 bath towels on a real hot muggy day I don’t like to reused towels not even at my house , room has no COFFEE I’m don’t ask for a full breakfast bar just some coffee, other than the little room store they have. I won’t stay there again. I don’t even mention been waken up at 6 am to some one fitting on the hall way.

Great deal and excellent staff

I would give this hotel 3 to 3 1/2 stars. It has the feel of a new hotel that’s planning on working up the luxury ladder. The king room was very spacious (even the bathroom), the bed firm and comfortable, and everything was in good repair. As with a lot of nice hotels, there were some things that were conspicuously absent or wrong. The bath tub is a Jacuzzi brand and large and nice, but there wasn’t a soap holder and the water doesn’t drain from the corners so there was a small spot of mildew. There’s good water pressure but an awful, 2-buck showerhead that makes you squirm to try and rinse off. The soap is basic dial and the lotion has a very hard container so it can’t be squeezed out. They offer free parking, but my compact car had about 6 in on each side and took two turns to get into a spot; larger cars would just take two spots. Free internet, but it was wired (no wireless at all) so you were tied to the table (didn’t even have the cord attached to the table or lamp and would always fall off). The HD-LCD TV was large enough, but seemed small from all the way across the room (the room was large), and only had the most basic cable (no movies, no HBO, yes sports, yes Comedy Central). Please don’t get me wrong, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. I mostly list what they’d need to do to make 4 stars in my book. Service was excellent. The view is `authentic’ but you can see the Chicago skyline and the morning sunrise (depending on room). I loved the space and feel of luxury and would definitely stay there again.

The South Loop Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The staff bent over backwards, the rooms were more than spacious with a nice sitting area. The one area lacking was easily accessible dining options. With a sports bar and a cafe with limited hours, there were little other dining choices. Other than Chinese and Italian, it was quite a drive for other options. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable visit (a mini-fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the rooms would be nice, especially the mini-fridge and microwave due to the lack of dining options).

The hotel was immaculately clean. The rooms and lobby were very spacious. All the things that we want were available i.e. coffee shop, bar, business center, and wifi. Would have loved to have had a coffee machine in the room but that was secondary. The staff was great! The price was great! And the best part was FREE PARKING! Close to bus lines was a plus but no train station within close walking distance.
