The hotel was generally OK. No bed bugs or anything horrible, but it's just not a good value. They certainly don't deserve to be rated as highly as they are. The room was tiny. May have been one of the smallest hotel rooms in which I've ever stayed. The TV placement was offset at a weird angle that made it not overly comfortable for two of us to watch from the bed. One of the two towels in the room had a weird brown stain on it. My back had a pretty nasty kink in it after sleeping on the mattress. This hotel clearly hasn't jumped on board with the recent trend of higher quality mattresses. The one & only thing I really liked about the hotel was location- it was a quick walk from Union Station & was right off of the bus line we wanted to take. Also were able to walk from the hotel to Grant Park & the Willis Tower. I think that there are better options for comparable prices. We just don't think we got our money's worth here & won't be returning.

My husband and I stayed here for Lollapalooza this year. We booked a standard queen room. It was the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. It was too cramped for two people. The bathroom was almost comically small, only one person could be in there at a time and the water pressure was terrible. The restaurant was disappointing as well, more on the order of an Applebees than an English pub. We got an order of potato skins to share and what arrived was one half of a potato cut into 4 wedges with fake bacon bits and it was cold. Better bet is go up a block or two to Millers Pub, great food, great drink selection and ambiance. For 20 bucks more a night we could have stayed at Hotel 71 like we did last year which has huge rooms and bathrooms, it's next door to a lovely Italian restaurant and Corner Bakery. Will do so next year.

My husband and I stayed here to attend a concert at Soldier Field and then celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The hotel was extremly clean and very close to walking anywhere we went for the entire weekend. As with all the other reviews yes the rooms are a tad small but we were hardly in there but to sleep. I would definetly stay there again for the price we got.

Stayed here one night for a quick getaway and were very impressed. Price of the hotel was great. Close to Union Station, metra, sears tower, and food places. We also walked to Millenium Park and to the Magnificient Mile (I think that was about a 20 minute or so). The hotel itself was in a safe location. The room (1 queen) was perfect for what we wanted. Even though the room was small compared to your typical standard hotel rooms, it was a non-issue for us. It was nicely decorated and furnished with a desk and mounted tv and there was 3 books for our reading pleasure. The bathroom only had a shower but honestly, who wants to take a bath in a hotel tub. The room was very clean and pretty quiet. Loved the bottled water in the hallways. The front desk people were helpful and allowed us to check in early and kept our bags after we had checked out without any charge. I was very impressed and would stay here again on my next visit to Chicago.

From the doorman to the concierge my trip was a pleasure. I had a wonderful greeting as I step out of the airport shuttle opening the doors helping with luggage and then when I entered the concierge was the next friendly face to greet us. My check in was seamless , he recomended restaurants and asked if we needed anything we could ask. Believe me I asked, I had never been to Chicago but with their help I felt like I got the full experience. Thanks Club Quarters for having people there that really care.
