Over all very pleased. We stayed here for a minivacation with our kids over Easter. Location was wonderful - within walking distance to many shops. Pool is very small and the hot tub was out of service and the pool area was overwhelming with chlorine. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Didn't take long for valet service to bring our vehicle, but had to call twice for bellman to come get our bags upon check out. If the hotel isn't very full the wait for elevators was minimul, but the more people in the hotel the longer the wait. Definitely book a room with a city view! Well worth the money! Overall atmosphere out weighed the downfalls.

Not in the same league for other properties that are located within the miracle mile. This property requires updates to it's most basic elements be desirable. While the staff was friendly, they were confused as to which rooms were available. It took three tries to provide a key to a room that was not already occupied.

i loved that everything was close within afew blocks well 4 or 5 lol. the room was 1807 city view a corner with lots of windows. i hated that even though it was a no smoking room the hall was a smoking hall at least it smelled like smoke. but the parking for valet was $$ a day no matter how late you came in and by 5pm the next dat you would be charged again unless you checked out your car. or $$ self park ???? we parked in a adjacent lot for $ the night after paying for first night. then we found out if you are lucky you can park on the street from 9 pm to 8am free but got to get up early to move car or pay the meter. loved visiting chicago and loved the hotel view. would stay again if i get a good deal

This was our first time staying in this hotel. We have one in Detroit and figured that if the one in Detroit was nice the one in Chicago had to be nice too. It was a good value for the price that we paid. The hotel was very clean, comfy pillows, bed a good view if you get the city view if not you will be looking at buildings and alley ways.. The staff was welcoming and the location was perfect. We were in walking distance of everything (resturants, bars and teh magnificent mile). Once we parked our car we had no need for it until it was time to return home. We will stay at this hotel on our next trip to Chicago unless we get a good deal elsewhere at one of the chains we visited before.
